Visiting Day Open House in Mathematics

Prospective Graduate Students Visiting Day Open House Wednesday, Feb 12, 2014
 
Wednesday, Feb 12 - 10:15 am- 10:30 a.m. Current students meet with the prospective students at the QClub and walk over to the Math Department
 10:45 a.m. - 11:00a.m. - Welcome and QA about the Graduate Program in Mathematics
11:00 a.m. - 12:00p.m. - First set of three 20 minute introductory lectures by the faculty. Lectures will take place in room 200 LOM.
12:00p.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Lunch and mingling with current graduate students.
1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. -  Walk over to HGS to meet with Lisa Brandes for a tour & info about the Graduate School.
2:30 p.m. - 3:10 p.m. - Second set of two 20-minute introductory lectures by the faculty. Lectures will take place in room 200 LOM.
3:10 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - Free time to chat with students and faculty one-on-one.
4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Department Tea.
4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. - Free time (optional campus tour).
6:00 p.m. - Dinner at the QClub in the Library Room.
 Thursday, Feb 13 - Departure or time to explore New Haven.
 ALL Math Undergraduate, Graduate students and Faculty are invited for lunch at 12:00 (noon) to meet with our new recruits.
