A one-day symposium celebrating the scientific life of Steve Orszag (1943-2011) will be held in Luce Hall, Feb 22 2013. The symposium, A Mathematical Journey Through Flows, focuses on Steve's contributions to the modern practice of fluid dynamics. Invited speakers include Carl Bender, Hudong Chen, Dan Meiron, Michael Shelley, Alexander Smits, Katepalli Sreenivasan, Sauro Succi and Victor Yakhot. See here for more information.
