The conference “From Representation Theory to Mathematical Physics and Back” will be held at the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics, Stony Brook, NY, from May 31-June 4, 2022 in honor of the 70th birthday of Igor Frenkel. The goal of the conference is to highlight the symbiotic relationship between physics and mathematics, and in particular representation theory. The deep connection between these subjects goes back to the early developments of these areas and the theme of this meeting will be to highlight some recent examples.
We aim to have leaders in mathematics and mathematical physics, as well as graduate students and junior researchers attend this meeting. More information can be found at our conference website: http://scgp.stonybrook.edu/archives/34420
Registration is now open on our website, and due to COVID19 restrictions, all participants must register before arriving at SCGP. Financial support for junior participants is available. Please apply by April 15 if you are requesting funding for travel and accommodations.
