New undergraduate research opportunities in mathematics

The Department of Mathematics is pleased to announce the inaugural 2014 Summer Undergraduate Mathematics Research at Yale (SUMRY) program, which will offer funded positions for up to twenty Yale students to work individually and in small groups on carefully chosen open problems in the mathematical sciences, guided by a half-dozen graduate student mentors and two postdoc coordinators, and directed by professors Amanda Folsom and Sam Payne.  Seehttp://sumry.yale.edu for further details, and contact the SUMRY team by email if you have questions about summer undergraduate math research at Yale.
