Event description:
It is a long standing conjecture that if a 4-manifold with a free circle action supports a symplectic structure then the orbit space of the circle action fibers over S^1.
We will present a proof of the conjecture in the case that the canonical class of the symplectic structure is zero. This is joint work with Stefano
Vidussi.
