Signal recovery from $l_p$ pooling representations

In this talk I will discuss the invertibility of neural networks with $l_p$ pooling and half rectification nonlinearities. I will start with a brief review of neural networks, and then describe the relationship between the invertibility of a neural network and the phase recovery problem. I will then present some theoretical results on phase recovery in this context, and finish with some numerical experiments.
