Event description:

A Teichmuller lattice is the orbit of a basepoint in Teichmuller space under the action of the mapping class group. We show that the proportion of lattice points, distance at most r from the initial basepoint, which are images of pseudo-Anosov elements of the mapping class group, tends to one as r tends to infinity.
