Abstract: The Riesz-Sobolev inequality and Brascamp-Lieb inequality both involve multilinear integrals (without any oscillatory factor). There are many results about the implicit constants in these inequalities, from finiteness to optimality. In particular, I will describe recent work studying maximizing configurations for a generalization of the Riesz-Sobolev inequality. I will also describe a generalized weak Brascamp-Lieb inequality which leads to a generalized multilinear Kakeya inequality.
