Event description:

Around 1985 three groups of jugglers came up with the same notation, called siteswaps, for juggling patterns. It turns out to be useful for recording and studying known patterns, and creating new ones.
I’ll explain this system, with many demonstrations. I’ll also talk about a recent construction that associates a juggling pattern to any matrix.
