Event description:
The sum over n of the (degree 0) Hochschild homology of the affine Hecke algebras AH_n of type A is an algebra. We given an explicit presentation of this algebra and then explain its relation to the Hall algebra of an elliptic curve, the Homfly skein algebra of the torus, and the trace algebra of a q-version of Khovanov’s Heisenberg category. (Based on joint work with Morton and with Cautis, Lauda, Licata, and Sussan.)
