Event description:

We study the number of solutions of asymptotic Plateau problem in
hyperbolic 3-space. By combining some analytical results and some
topological arguments, we show that there exists an open dense subset of
some smooth class of Jordan curves in the sphere at infinity such that any
curve in this set bounds a unique least area plane in the hyperbolic
space.
