Fractal measure theory, dynamics, Schmidt’s game and number theory

I will present new results connecting fractal measure
theory, dynamics, Schmidt’s game and number theory in general
and Diophantine approximation in particular.
These results are part of an ongoing project and joint papers
with R. Broderick, Y. Bugeaud, D. Kleinbock and B. Weiss.
The talk will be self contained and thus
non experts in these fields, including grad students are very much welcome.
