Curvilinear Radon transform and horospheres in symmetric spaces

Following Gelfand, the problem of harmonic analysis on Riemannian symmetric spaces is equivalent to inversion of certain analog of the Radon transform.  We will explain in the talk that the inversion formula for the generalized Radon transform looks the same way in the classical and curvilinear set-ups.
