Clifford’s theorem for metrized complexes

I will show that metrized complexes satisfy a tropical version of Clifford’s theorem. Namely, every metrized complex that carries a divisor of degree 2r and rank r is hyperelliptic. I will then discuss the relation between different definitions of hyperellipticity, and describe the Brill–Noether loci of hyperelliptic metrized complexes.
