January 1, 2011

The John Alan Lewis prize is awarded to ``an undergraduate majoring in mathematics, who wishes to pursue his/her studies over the summer and who, in the opinion of the University is most worthy of receiving the award.''  The proposal should describe an independent reading or research project which the student will undertake with the approval and guidance of a faculty member.
