We show that the line of minima corresponding to two
filling measured laminations is a Teichmuller quasi-geodesic.
Moreover, the line of minima and the Teichmuller geodesic with
the same “end points at infinity” project to roughly the same paths
in the complex of pants decompositions of the surface.
